Financial Assistance

Trinity Collegiate School seeks a diverse student population. In our efforts to assure quality educational opportunities to all students, we offer a financial aid program to families that may have financial constraints. The following information will help you understand the policies and procedures for financial assistance.

Trinity Collegiate School provides need-based financial aid to qualifying families on a space-available basis. Qualification is determined by parents submitting a confidential financial report to the School and Student Service for Financial Aid, an agency of the National Association of Independent Schools, www.nais.org/go/sss. This agency does not fund financial aid grants -- it simply calculates eligibility. The following stipulations apply:

Financial aid grants are usually not provided in grade levels which have full enrollment of students paying full tuition, and new grants may be delayed pending determination of which grade levels have spaces available.
Returning students in good standing have priority over new applicants for financial aid.
The school tries to meet the demonstrated financial need of applicants; however, all families are expected to pay some tuition and there is a budgetary limitation on the amount of tuition grants which can be awarded in any year. Grants do not normally exceed one-half of the tuition.
Parents must submit a report to the School and Student Service for Financial Aid and submit copies of W-2 and 1040 forms to Trinity Collegiate School each year.
Student academic records may be made available to institutions awarding financial aid.
Financial assistance is need-based only and no athletic or other merit scholarships are provided.
