Tuition and Fee Schedules

Plan A:  All tuition and fees paid in full by July 1 (or date of enrollment contract* in cases of late enrollment).  The Tuition Refund Plan is optional, and if selected, must also be paid by July 1 (or with enrollment contract in cases of late enrollment).

Plan B:  The full tuition amount plus $150 administrative charge is divided into 2 semester payments.  One-half of the full year’s tuition is due by July 1 (or date of enrollment contract in cases of late enrollment).  The second half of the tuition is due by November 1.  The Tuition Refund Plan is required and must be paid by July 1.

Plan C:  The full tuition amount plus $300 administrative charge is divided into 10 equal monthly installments with the first installment due July 1 (or date of enrollment contract in cases of late enrollment) and the last payment due April 1, inclusive.  The Tuition Refund Plan is required and must be paid by July 1.

(*Tuition is pro-rated for enrollment after the beginning of school.  Some payment plans may not be available in cases of late enrollment.)

The $500 tuition down payment and all other discounts and credits (sibling discount and early bird discount)
will be applied to the July invoices.

Financial Aid
Financial Aid is available to students based on demonstrated need.  Please contact the Admissions Office and review financial aid policies in the Parent and Student Handbook for more information.

Books and Materials
(Textbooks are bought by the individual at the annual book sale held each year a few days before school opening.)

Late Payment Penalty
Payments received after the due date will be assessed $25.00 monthly late fees.

Returned Payment Item
Any returned item will be subject to a $30.00 handling fee.

Credit Card Payments
Payment with credit cards is allowed, but users will be charged a fee of 6% of the amount paid by credit card.

 

Tuition Refund Plan

Participation in the Tuition Refund Plan (TRP) is optional for families who select Plan A (advance payment in full) and is required of all families selecting Plan B (2 payments, July 1 and Nov. 1) and Plan C (monthly) payment schedules.  The TRP fee must be paid with the first tuition payment.  The plan fee is determined by the Board of Trustees and is based upon a percentage of the tuition.  The current rate is 2.8%. 

Each year a number of students are forced to withdraw from independent schools for one of the following reasons: Illness or injury, death of a parent or student, disciplinary dismissal, scholastic failure, financial hardships, or relocation of family.  However, the financial obligation to the school is for the full tuition as stated in the Trinity Collegiate School enrollment contract.

If your son or daughter is withdrawn from school, the Tuition Refund Plan will pay benefits subject to the terms and conditions and limitations of the plan.  The following is a description of the benefits offered with the Trinity Collegiate School Tuition Refund Plan.

Medical Absence/Disability:  100% of the unused yearly tuition and administrative charge provided that the student’s physical disability extends for thirty-one (31) or more consecutive school days.  Benefits are paid retroactive to the first day of disability.

Excluded Medical Benefits

  • Disability which manifested itself before the first day of classes.
  • Absence or withdrawal due to the use of any drug, narcotic or agent similarly classed.

Non-Medical Withdrawal or Dismissal:  50% of the unused yearly tuition and administrative charge provided that the student has attended more than fourteen (14) consecutive school days beginning with the student’s first day of classes.
                       
Excluded Non-Medical Benefits

  • Any withdrawal or dismissal within the first fourteen (14) consecutive school days beginning with the student’s first day of class.
  • Dismissals which are a consequence of major vandalism or other destruction of school property.  

Sample Tuition Refund Claim for Plan C

A student enrolls for the year in the 7th grade.  Plan C is chosen and four (4) monthly payments have been made, July through October.  The student is withdrawn October 7th due to family relocation.  The claim would be as follows:

 4.  Total tuition owed for 37 days attended $1490.36
