Pennies for Patients

It's that time of year again where the Trinity Middle School Students Council kicks off an all-school fundraiser. For the past 11 years, Trinity Students and their families have generously given to "Pennies for Patients", established through The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, the worlds largest voluntary health organization dedicated to funding blood cancer research.

February 13th- 24th have been set aside to focus on raising funds for this very worthy cause. Class coin collection boxes will be set up in the lunch area during lunch. All coins, cash and checks are acceptable. (Checks payable to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society)

Their motto: Every penny counts for the cure!

PARENT GUILD REPORT
Our Parent Guild has done a wonderful job this year. Their efforts have been tremendously beneficial to our school and deeply appreciated. Please consider being involved next year and contact President-Elect Terri Pignone: mfpignone@aol.com, 383-0277 (home) or 687-3676 (cell).
Reminder – Don’t forget the Titan Gift Card program when thinking about graduation gifts! What about getting Dad a Lowe’s gift card for Fathers’ Day? An order will be placed on Monday, May 16th and the deadline for getting your orders is Friday, May 13th. An order form is enclosed for your convenience and the forms are also available on the front page of the TCS website under “FORMS.” Thank you.

ATHLETIC BOOSTER CLUB NEWS
A big THANK-YOU to everyone who supported the Booster Club and to our volunteers, led by Debbie Zubel. The last events of the year are: The annual awards program, which will be held at 6:30 PM on Monday, May 16th in the Sonoco gym. This is a change of date from our previous calendar due to a change in the SCISA soccer playoff schedule. Desserts and beverages will be provided by the Parent Guild. Field Day cookout, which will follow the Academic Awards program on Friday, May 20th. Parents are welcome to join us for hamburgers and hot dogs and to watch the students enjoy field day activities. Each student will be charged $5 for lunch and beverages. Dismissal will be after lunch.
